Trust EC to conduct free and fair election – CODEO tells political parties

The Coalition for Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) has urged political parties to trust the Electoral Commission (EC) in conducting free and fair elections.

Albert Arhin, CODEO’s National Coordinator, emphasized that the EC is a neutral body and warned that doubting its impartiality could lead to unnecessary challenges.

He advised parties to communicate any concerns to the EC to improve the system rather than speculating.

Arhin expressed confidence in the EC's fairness, noting that the commission has consistently involved stakeholders in its processes, ensuring transparency ahead of the December polls.
