Vacant seat controversy: NDC commends Speaker Bagbin for displaying ‘maturity’ at Tuesday’s proceeding

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has praised Speaker Alban Bagbin for his leadership during the October 22 parliamentary session, calling it "a masterclass."

In a statement by General Secretary Fifi Kwetey, the NDC applauded Bagbin's mature handling of proceedings, particularly his commitment to serving both Parliament and the Ghanaian people.

The party believes his leadership has strengthened Parliament's integrity and expressed confidence in his ability to maintain the independence of the legislative process.

The NDC also commended its caucus for their resilience and reiterated their commitment to upholding democracy.
