Odeefo Amoakwa Buadu VII, President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, has pledged support to NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, emphasizing collaboration for regional development if Mahama is elected.

During Mahama and running mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang's visit on July 30, Odeefo highlighted issues like poor road networks and youth unemployment, expressing commitment to work together to resolve them.

He commended the NDC for selecting Prof. Opoku-Agyemang, a native of the Central Region, as the vice-presidential candidate, appreciating Mahama for maintaining her as his running mate.
