We’ll not allow EC to stampede us into 2024 Elections – Omane Boamah

Dr. Omane Boamah, NDC's Director of Elections, has criticized the Electoral Commission (EC) for not providing political parties with the provisional voter register before the voter exhibition exercise.

Despite the EC's request for external drives in July to transfer the register, the NDC has not received it. Boamah warned that the NDC will protest and hold public forums if the register is not released promptly.

NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama also urged the EC to deliver the register to help party members verify their names before the exhibition starts on August 20, 2024.
