A former General Secretary of the Christian Council of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Kwabena Opuni-Frimpong, has said the actions of political parties and Ghanaians as a whole will determine the fate of the country after the December polls.
In an interview with Accra based Asempa FM, Dr Opuni Frimpong noted that bloodshed is not the best way to resolve grievances after the elections.

“If we want to live peacefully after the elections, we must take action. The two major political parties, especially, should allow the law work.”
He further called on politicians to always remember that leadership actually a service and mind their utterances during the electioneering period.
“Leadership is service so why must there be bloodshed just because someone wants to be a leader. Our election must be devoid of violence no matter who it favours.”
“We should not respond to our misgivings with bloodshed, let us use our law court even if we are certain that something is wrong,” he added.
