Member of Parliament for the Ketu Constituency in the Volta Region, Richard Mawuli Koku Quarshigah has said that it is the agenda of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to make Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo a one-term President.
According to him, in view of this agenda of the NDC all the Parliamentary aspirants and party members have decided to harbour any misgiving in the ongoing Parliamentary Primaries.
Contributing to a panel discussion on Joy FM Saturday, August 24, 2019, during the NDC Parliamentary Primaries, Hon. Quarshigah maintained that the focus of the party is to unseat President Akufo-Addo in the 2020 elections.
He reiterated that the NDC party members are willing to swallow any pain in order to ensure that they have an unwavering unity to unseat President Akufo-Addo.
“We have an agenda to make Akufo-Addo a one-term President and so no matter the discomfort which may arise after the Parliamentary Primaries, we are ready and willing to work together to ensure that we make Akufo-Addo a one-term President,” he stated.
