You can’t hold NDC to ransom – Gbande to Kwakye-Ackah

Mustapha Gbande, Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, has accused Amenfi Central MP Peter Kwakye-Ackah of holding the party hostage for personal gain.

This follows the Electoral Commission's disqualification of NDC candidate Joana Cudjoe due to a pending injunction.

While Kwakye-Ackah, now running as an Independent, expressed a willingness to collaborate with the NDC for the December elections, Gbande criticized him for undermining the party.

Kwakye-Ackah denied any ill intentions, stating he is open to working with the NDC for electoral success, despite the ongoing tensions within the party.
