Afro-Arab Group chairman urges Zongo communities to partake in population census

The CEO/ Chairman of the Afro-Arab Group, Alhaji Salamu Amadu has urged Zongo communities across the country to partake in the ongoing National Population Census.

Alhaji Salamu has embarked on a campaign as part of creating awareness with the zongos.

"Population census is important for policy and National development and as we all know Muslims are part of the national decision-making process. So, I'm urging all of them to participate in the exercise for better zongo and sustainable national development," he said.

Touted as the National Zongo Ambassador, he furthermore appealed to the youths in the zongo to engage themselves into entrepreneurship skills and stay away from engaging none developmental issues.

"It is time for zongos to stand up for what is due them and this is a small way as a youth from the zongo to create awareness for them to avail themselves to be counted," he added.

Alhaji Salamu together with the Afro-Arab Group has impacted many lives through their cooperate social responsibilities.
