Giordano to open its first Ghana store in collaboration with the Melcom Group

Giordano, the global apparel brand known for its everyday wardrobe essentials, is opening its first Ghana store within Melcom Plus in North Kaneshie, Accra on 16th September 2021.

Another 4 locations within the Melcom Department stores in Achimota, Frafraha, Tema, and Weija are scheduled to be opened this year.

The new store has a fresh look, aiming to redefine simplicity while embracing a more classic concept. Space is maximized for product displays and customer interaction.

The move sees Giordano continue its recent expansion in the African continent – adding to its portfolio which already includes Zambia, South Africa, Kenya, and Mauritius, alongside its presence in over 30 other countries across Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Africa, North America, and Central Asia.

Mark Loynd, Executive Director and Head of Overseas Market Development, commented, “Melcom is Ghana’s leading retail chain, with an extensive network of over 50 wholesale and department stores. We are both pleased and excited to commence our partnership with Melcom to bring Giordano to Ghana.”
