The family council of Huahi Achama Tutuwaa Royal advises the public concerning ‘Boadi Lands’, unsubstantiated claims made by the KNUST
The family emphatically states that the judgment claiming our ownership and authority on the land is whole, accurate and explicitly stated.

This has also been reaffirmed by the court judgment on 31st May 2021 presided by Justice E Senyo Amedahe in which an application proposing to join the Golden Stool as joint owners whereas the Golden Stool acts as lawful owners and the family as beneficiary owners.

However, the court passed a judgment stating that the lands cannot be owned by any other individual or group other than the Huahi Royal family. The judgment in suit no C1/65/20 states the acreage of the land as particularly described by a plan of land made by licensed surveyor Anthony Ackah showing the location and boundaries of the land. Attached is an exhibit of the plan plotted at the lands commission with instrument number ASH.60/01/2021 and property no. A. 8673.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science a Technology has no right over the lands stated in the plaintiff’s affidavit. This statement is justified by a court hearing presided by Justice E Senyo Amedahe on the 29th of January 2021, dismissing KNUST’s application. The claims being made by the family are factual and explicitly presented per the 1992 constitutions of the Republic of Ghana covering lands exemplified by the rich history of the Ashanti Kingdom.

KNUST claims to be the lawful owners of a part of the lands which was adjudged for the family however has no proof whatsoever in its lease which was tendered in court as an exhibit regarding their motion for Joinder filed on 14th January 2021.

KNUST failed to provide evidence in the lease stating the contractual agreement between the family and the government. As well as its accompanying compensations.

The family seeks to protect its interest in the lands given by our ancestors for the benefit of this generation and the next to come.

The general public is hereby cautioned by this publication to desist from dealing with KWAME NKRUMAH UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, any person or persons claiming through them.
