YPYC opens nomination for 2021 Young Professional Role Model Awards

The Young Professionals Role Model is an annual leadership excellence and young achievers award to recognize individuals, groups and organizations who demonstrate transformational leadership both personally and professionally towards national development.

The objective is to appreciate such role models to inspire, motivate and encourage them to continue their exemplary leadership lifestyle that has the capacity to influence the youth to emulate their shining example.

The Categories are Male Personality, Female and Organization and Honorary ones such as Entrepreneurship development, Media Empowerment, Politics & Governance etc. At the end of the nomination, eligible nominees from each category will be shortlisted and voted for to select the overall winner by simple majority.

Nomination is opened from September 1-15, 2021. voting start from September 16-29 2021 on YPYC website www.ypyc-gh.com and a shortcode will be provided.

Nominees should meet the following criteria:

1. The Individual, Group or Organization is an emerging leader who demonstrates excellence, creativity, innovation and initiative in his or her business or profession.

2. The Individual, Group or Organization provides valuable service to improve the quality of life for others especially the youth in the community, village, city, town, church, mosque etc.

3. Professional Leadership: The emerging leader demonstrates leadership in his or her business or profession which inspires creativity and drive value for the society.

4. Personal Leadership: The Individual, Group or Organization serves as a Role Model for young people.


5. Service to Community: undertakes charitable activities, and support youth related activities.

6. Achievement and recognition in his/her academics, profession, business, social, religious life.

The 2021 Overall Young Professional Role Model Winners will be awarded during the 12th Young Professionals Transformational Leadership Conference and Young Professional Role Model at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Friday October 1, 2021 at 9:00am.
