Thirteen individuals have been arrested in the La Dade-Kotopon municipality of Greater Accra for allegedly filling and developing parts of the Laboma and Teshie Military shooting range within the Kpeshie Lagoon area.

The Greater Accra Regional Security Council (REGSEC) found significant encroachment with structures under construction during an inspection.

Chairman Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover stated that those responsible for the illegal developments will face consequences, including demolition of unauthorized structures.

Authorities are investigating to determine who sold the land and will take legal action accordingly.
