The ongoing construction of the Ofankor-Pokuase stretch on the N6 Highway is set to be completed by the end of September 2024, according to Chief Resident Engineer Ing. Kwabena Bempong.

Currently at 70% completion, the 2.3-kilometre stretch will soon be opened to traffic, easing congestion on the busy route.

The project includes an 8-lane road with 2-lane service roads on each side, and a rebuilt railway bridge designed to accommodate future expansion.

While some areas with overpasses and interchanges will remain under construction, significant progress is expected by the September deadline.
