King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse, led a sacred procession for the Ma’amɛn celebration, honoring past Ga kings after the Homowo festival.
The journey, filled with traditional drumming and rituals, took the Ga Mantseto Mantseman, where he performed the ancestral rites of feeding the spirits and offering libations.
The procession also visited the tomb of King Tackie Tawiah I.
The event, which ended with purification rites, reaffirms the deep spiritual and cultural ties between the Ga people and their ancestors.
