Abandoned baby rescued from toilet at Acherensua Health Centre [Photos]

A baby boy has been abandoned in the toilet of Acherensua Health Centre in the Ahafo Region.

A mother discovered the baby when she took her sick child to the facility and reported it to the health workers.

Mercy Sackey, a midwife at the center, explained that the health workers immediately called the police and rescued the baby.

The baby was found alive, cleaned, and rushed to Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Hwidiem for treatment.
