Nana Acheamfuor Asiedu Agyemang has confirmed the destoolment of Kwahumanhene Daasebre Akuamoah Agyepong due to his involvement in a two million Ghana cedis scandal during his tenure as board chairman of the Agriculture Development Bank.

The decision, made by the Abene Kingmakers, aligns with Akan customary protocols.

Nana Agyemang emphasized the shame this incident brought to Kwahu's leadership and underscored the need for security in the area.

The Eastern Regional Minister commended the chiefs for their peaceful resolution and urged religious leaders to promote peace ahead of the upcoming December elections.
