Brigadier General Ayorrogo: Kulungugu clash under investigation, officers to be punished

Brigadier General Zibri Bawah Ayorrogo, Commissioner of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA-CD), has denounced the recent clash at Kulungugu Border Post between Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) and Customs Division officers, captured in a viral video.

He emphasized professionalism and announced an investigation, promising consequences for those found culpable.

A joint committee has been formed to prevent future incidents.

During a visit to the Upper East Region, Ayorrogo praised his officers' professionalism, cautioned against intimidating traders, and highlighted the need to address porous borders, including introducing scanners to enhance revenue collection.
