Miss Hannah Alagbe, Assistant Administrative Manager at the Road Safety Authority, recently clarified that being a pedestrian is not determined by vehicle ownership.

In an interview with Kwamina Sam Biney on Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem, she explained that anyone who walks on the roadside is a pedestrian, regardless of their socio-economic status.

She emphasized that road crashes are often caused by human error, not just accidents, and urged greater road safety awareness.

Miss Alagbe also shared advice for drivers, recommending they ensure they can see the rear tires of the car ahead to reduce crash risks.

Her team is committed to promoting road safety through education and outreach programs.
