Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service have rescued 15 victims from an accident on the Cape Coast-Accra highway near the Childcare School junction.

The crash involved a Toyota Hiace (registration GB 2053-22) traveling from Takoradi to Accra. Around 6:30 am, the car veered into a nearby bush.

The fire team rescued 10 trapped victims and assisted five others who escaped. All victims were handed over to the National Ambulance Service and transported to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, and the Toyota Hiace sustained partial damage.
