Fire guts Ahantaman Girls SHS dormitory

A fire has destroyed a dormitory block at Ahantaman Girls’ Senior High School in Sekondi-Takoradi on Wednesday, July 17.

All students were in class during the incident, but five lost all their belongings, including trunks, beds, provisions, and books, amounting to thousands of Ghana Cedis.

The fire, suspected to be caused by an electrical fault, was quickly extinguished by the Ghana Fire Service.

PTA Chairman Charles Mintaba has called for assistance from organizations and philanthropists to help replace the students' lost items.
