Flood: UCC students demand a bridge to connect hostels to lecture halls

Students at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) are advocating for a bridge to connect their hostels to the Sandwich Lecture Theatre (SWLT) due to difficulties accessing lecture halls during rainfall.

Current makeshift solutions are inadequate and often submerged.

Julius Quartey of the SRC Water and Sanitation Chair highlighted the urgent need for a permanent bridge solution.
