Flooding on Ho-Accra main road leaves many stranded

Heavy rains have caused flooding on the Ho-Accra main road, stranding travelers around Juapong as the culvert linking Juapong and Nudu is completely submerged.

The flooding occurred around 4 pm on Saturday, blocking both lanes.

Bernard Mawuli Afudego, a local unit committee member, stated that emergency efforts are underway and expressed hope that the water would recede within one to two hours, allowing traffic to resume.

He also appealed for assistance to address the situation, highlighting potential problems if the flooding persists. The situation is being closely monitored to ensure the safety and movement of travelers.
