Four dead after storey building collapse at Kasoa New Market

In the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region, a tragic incident occurred when a store building under construction collapsed, resulting in the deaths of a carpenter and three others.

According to eyewitness Nana Akwesi, the workers were on the second floor when the building gave way.

The carpenter died instantly, while the other three succumbed to their injuries en route to the hospital.

Assemblyman Mustapha Mohammed expressed deep shock at the incident.
