GWL to shut down Barekese Water Treatment Plant for repairs

Ghana Water Limited (GWL) will repair the damaged 900mm transmission line at Breman Ahenfo due to perforation caused by drainage construction.

The Barekese Water Treatment Plant will be shut down on July 24 to facilitate the repair, affecting several areas in Kumasi.

Customers are advised to store water ahead of the exercise.

GWL apologizes for the inconvenience and assures that the water supply will be restored immediately after the repair work is completed.

The repair is aimed at ensuring a reliable water supply to the affected areas.
