Jirapa: Assembly members vote against motion to auction gov’t vehicles

Hon. Ninfaazuma Benedict, Assembly Member for Piiyiri Electoral Area and Presiding Member for Jirapa Municipal Assembly, has strongly opposed rumors that the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) is attempting to auction state vehicles of the Assembly.

In a statement, he clarified that the Assembly members voted against the auctioning in a formal motion, and the decision is officially documented in the minutes.

He warned the MCE and anyone involved in these actions that the Assembly members would resist any attempt to auction municipal property, emphasizing that they will take any necessary steps to protect the assets.

He also rejected claims that he supported the auctioning, reaffirming his commitment to his reputation and integrity.
