Kwahu chiefs purify Odweanoma Mountain to reduce rampant accident

The chiefs and elders of Kwawu Atibie in the Eastern Region have conducted a purification ritual on the Odweanoma Mountain to reduce the frequent accidents on the Nkawkaw-Atibie road.

The Akyeamehene, Nana Bamfo Dankwah II, explained that some of the accidents were avoidable, and they sought forgiveness from the gods for any past wrongs.

After offering sacrifices, Nana Atuobi Yiadom, the area's fetish priest, expressed confidence that the rituals will prevent further incidents.

She also urged drivers to exercise caution on the road to avoid future accidents.
