The Minister for the Interior, Henry Quartey, has renewed the curfew for Kpatinga and surrounding areas, effective from October 4, 2024, from midnight to 4 am.
This decision follows recommendations from the Northern Regional Security Council to enhance peace and security.
Quartey thanked local leaders and residents for their patience and stressed the importance of non-violence. He also announced a ban on carrying arms and warned that anyone found with firearms will face arrest.
The government is committed to working with local communities to ensure a secure environment.
