At the commissioning of the Flower Pot Interchange on November 19, 2024, Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, urged residents and municipal authorities to prioritize the maintenance of the newly inaugurated infrastructure.

He emphasized the need for cleanliness and order, warning against the establishment of kiosks and containers around the interchange that could detract from its aesthetics and functionality.

The interchange, aimed at reducing traffic congestion and improving connectivity, includes key features like dual carriageways, ramps, and pedestrian walkways.

It was completed at a cost of GH¢677.8 million and funded by the Government of Ghana and Afrexim Bank.
