A major fire broke out at Ghana Flag Junction in Kasoa on Monday evening, destroying several shops, including carpentry shops and drinking spots.
The blaze, which started around 5:30 pm, has caused significant property damage worth tens of thousands of cedis, though no casualties have been reported.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) is working tirelessly to control the fire, which is particularly concerning due to nearby power lines and filling stations.
Residents are worried about further risks, but progress is being made in extinguishing the flames.
