Sod cut for construction of Kwapong and Asufufuo town roads in Ahafo

The Ahafo Regional Minister and the Asunafo South DCE have initiated the construction of town roads in Kwapong and Asufufuo.

During the ceremony, the officials engaged with local chiefs and residents.

The DCE, Frank Aduse Poku, highlighted the severe challenges residents face due to poor road conditions and flooding.

The project includes 800 kilometers of paved road in Asufufuo and 2.2 kilometers in Kwapong, aiming to improve safety and accessibility.

The contractor is expected to complete the construction by the end of the year.
