Upper East Region: Military officer dead, five others injured in fatal accident

A tragic accident near Binduri in the Upper East Region claimed the life of one military officer from the 11 Mechanised Battalion in Bawku, leaving five others in critical condition.

The incident occurred when their military vehicle, with registration number 15 GA 04, veered off the road and somersaulted multiple times while traveling from Bawku to Bazua.

One officer died at the scene, while the injured were rushed to the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital and the Tamale Teaching Hospital for urgent treatment.
