Yagbonwura pays historic visit to Overlord of Mamprugu

In a historic first, the King of Gonjaland, HRM Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, paid a courtesy call to the Overlord of Mamprugu, Nayiri Mahami Sherigah, at the Nayiri palace in Nalerigu.

This significant visit follows Yagbonwura’s recent visit to the Dagbon kingdom at the Yaa Naa palace.

The North East Regional Minister, Hon Zakaria Yidana, highlighted the importance of this initiative, emphasizing that it will foster peace and unity among the kingdoms, binding them closer together.
