At CHAG's annual conference, Catholic Bishop Joseph Afrifa Agyekum has urged healthcare workers to avoid strikes, emphasizing CHAG's mission of providing 24-hour quality healthcare.

He called on the government to improve conditions for health workers.

The conference, resuming after four years due to COVID-19, highlighted CHAG's role in serving 6 million Ghanaians annually.

Executive Director Peter Yeboah and Ghana Health Service's Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye stressed the need for equitable, quality healthcare and urged government support for CHAG facilities, including better equipment, infrastructure, and timely National Health Insurance payments.
