Micheal Anaba started his professional football career with Windy Professionals, a division two football team based in Winneba. He was signed from the team by Asante Kotoko in 2011 and in 2013 won the Glo Premier League with them. In August 2013, Elche CF purchased him from Kotoko to play in the Spanish second division, this was after he had been successful in a two-week trial at the club
Anaba was a member of the Ghana Under-20 national team that took part in the 2013 FIFA U-20 tournament in Turkey
