German second-tier side FC Heidenheim have secured the signature of Ghanaian youngster, David Atanga, on a one-year loan deal.
The 19-year-old midfielder was signed from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg and will be with the club until 30.06.2017
Atanga helped Austrian second-tier side FC Liefering to a 2nd place finish after scoring ten goals in his 23 appearances in the 2015/16 season.
“We have observed David Atanga for some time and now look forward even more pleased that he has signed for us.”
“David is as offensive winger flexible and brings additional qualities to the team.” said FCH manager Holger Sanwald.
Atanga, who represented Ghana in the 2015 FIFA U-20 world cup in New Zealand, is now the third player to be signed by the German side after John Verhoek and Martin Rasner were both signed.
