    The attacking midfielder started his career in his native Ghana with Liberty Professionals from where he was loaned to Israeli side Hapoel Petativa for Half Season (2001). 2001, Went For Trails With A Lot Of Teams Eg. Germany (Beu. Dortmond, 2000), England (Trained With Manchester Academy,2000)
    He later moved to Sweden and played for Västerås, Friska Viljor, Assyriska Föreningen, Sylvia (loan) and Vasalund (Atiku obtained Swedish citizenship in 2005).
    Most recently he was with Greek outfit Ethnikos Piraeus but during his career Atiku has had trials with Manchester United (as a teenager) and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
