A member of the 2007 Under-17 team the offensive midfielder earned a four-year deal with Portuguese outfit Benefica after impressing on loan. The 18-year-old moved to Portugal from local side Gamba All Blacks on an 18-month loan deal in Nov. 2007. The winger was promoted from the youth team and has been training with the senior side for the past one-and-a-half months.
