Feb 2011: Ghana winger Opoku Agyemang has joined Qatari side Al-Ahli on a three months loan deal from Al Sadd.
Dec 2008: Ghanaian striker Agyemen Prempeh Opoku, who scored one of the goals that ensured Club Sportive Sfaxien retained their CAF Confederation Cup last month, has moved to Qatari club Al Sadd.
Al Sadd paid 2.6 million Euros for the 19-year-old Ghanaian, who is better known as Apoko. Sfaxien coach Gazi Grairi singled him out for special praise after the Tunisian club upset compatriots Etoile du Sahel to win this year's Confederation Cup in Sousse.
December 2007, Apoko suffered a broken leg in a league match against Esperance and his club walked out of the game after accusing the referee of not given players enough protection against cynical play.
After a goalless draw at home in the first leg final of this year's Confederation Cup, Apoko put Sfaxien two goals up in the return leg match to deny Etoile their second triumph in the competition on the away goal rule.
"He made a huge difference and exploited the weaknesses of Etoile," said Sfaxien coach Grairi.
Before his switch to Sfaxien in Janaury 2007, he featured for Ghanian club Ashanti Gold. He was also the star at the 2005 African Junior Championship in Gambia.
