Danquah, who was born in Ghana, started his playing career at the Ajax Amsterdam academy, he then represented Dutch First Divsion sides FC Omniworld and AFC, before joining the Magpies
Signed a two-year professional contract with Newcastle United in July 2008
He holds a Dutch passport, starred for the Newcastle reserves in the 2007-08 season and finshed as the team's top scorer.
Danquah was called in to the Newcastle squad for their final encounter of 2007-08 against Everton, but failed to secure a place on the bench for the game.
