APC embarks on schools OutReach at Juaben and Effiduase

The Asante Professionals Club over the weekend embarked on a Health Screening and Career Guidance Outreach to the Juaben and Effiduase Senior High Schools.

The Outreach saw over three thousand, five hundred final year students of these two schools taken through Career Choices, Study Tips and motivational talks on how to be successful in their examinations.

The Club, APC for short, is a voluntary “think and do-tank” club, comprising professionals from the Asante Kingdom of the Republic of Ghana. The Club is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization with high interest in the development of Asanteman and its people. In particular, it has a huge mandate towards the empowerment of the youth and they see education as a key factor in actualising this.

The Club’s president, Ama Serwah Nerquaye-Tetteh explained that these outreaches are in line with their madate and that their members, all successful professionals in their own right, come together and give back through programmes such as this.

“Education is a huge opportunity and we do our bit to encourage these young ones to take full advantage of it.”

There was a good Question and Answer session where student’s questions were answered by the various professionals who attended the programme.
