Ambassador Salamu Amadu Donates to Overall Winner of Young Mentees Quiz in Tamale

In a heartwarming display of commitment to education, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, the esteemed President and Founder of the Afro-Arab Group, recently donated a generous cash prize of GHc 2,000 to the overall winner of the 2023 Young Mentees Foundation Quiz. The event, held at the Tamasco Assembly Hall in Tamale, Northern Region, saw Dahinshelli JHS crowned as the triumphant champions.

Mr. Iddrisu Firdaus, widely known as Shatta Bundle in the showbiz arena, the Northern Regional representative of the Afro-Arab Group presented the symbolic cash on behalf of Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu.

Shatta Bundle not only conveyed the philanthropic gesture but also shared valuable advice with the pupils, urging them to prioritize their education.

He commended the organizers for their commendable efforts, emphasizing Ambassador Salamu Amadu's and Afro-Arab Group's dedication to education.

During the ceremony, Mr. Abdulai Salahudeen Tunteeya, the Chief Executive Officer of Young Mentees Foundation, expressed gratitude for the generous contribution from the Afro-Arab Group. He praised Ambassador Salamu Amadu for his commitment to fostering educational development and called on other corporate bodies to emulate such benevolent gestures.

The climax of the event saw Dahinshelli JHS securing the championship and receiving the esteemed GHc 2,000 cash prize from the Afro-Arab Group. Tiyumba M/A JHS claimed the first runners-up position, earning a GHc 1,000 cash prize. Meanwhile, Saint Peters R/C JHS and Nyohini Presbyterian Block ‘B’ secured the second and third runners-up positions, receiving GHc 500 and GHc 300 cash prizes, respectively.

Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu's generous act not only uplifts the spirits of these young minds but also stands as a beacon of inspiration for educational aspirations in the Northern Region.
