On 7th November,2023, the staff and management of Risk Management and Advisory Services Ltd, led by their Managing Director Larry Kwesi Jiagge, presented relief items to three southernmost districts of the Volta Region affected by the floods as a result of the Volta spillage. The districts are Anloga, Keta and Ketu South.

Making the presentation, Mr Jiagge stated that the lagoon is historically one of the last points of storage and discharge of water for any flood anytime there is spillage of water from the Volta.

The effect of the latest spillage saw a dramatic rise in the level of water level of the lagoon, leading to massive flooding of the large number of communities surrounding the lagoon.

The donation is therefore a token to help alleviate the sufferings of some of the people especially those living northwards of the lagoon.

The donation was received by Honourable Dzifa Gomashie, the MP for Ketu South, on behalf of the other parliamentarians and political leadership of the three districts.

The items donated were: 300 bags of Satchet water, 300 mats, 90 gallons of liquid soap 300 buckets, and 90 pails.

Honourable Gomashie, on behalf of the others, expressed the profound appreciation of the communities to the company. She hoped and prayed that more of such donations would come from other Ghanaians, especially those from the affected communities.

Others present were Mr W. Seade, the Assembly man for Anyako Konu, who represented the MP for Keta, a rep of the MP for Anloga and staff of the company.
