Unique Insurance embarks on a Health Walk dubbed 'Stride'
Unique Insurance Company Limited, one of the leading life insurers in Ghana over the weekend, embarked on a health walk in Accra.
Dubbed "Stride" the UIC health walk aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among staff of Unique Insurance Company Limited and their partners.
The walk which started and ended at the GNAT heights went through some principal streets of Accra. Activities that took place after the walk include aerobics,basketball toss, jenga, and many others.
Speaking at the GNAT heights where the team converged after the walk, the Managing Director of Unique Insurance Company Limited,Victor Obeng-Adiyiah Esq. underscored the need to bring in their cherished customers, shareholders, and entire staff and members of the Teachers fund group to appreciate them, and also imbibe in them the spirit of staying healthy.
He indicated that this walk is not only to give us great health benefits but also to demonstrate the enduring partnership we have with all our stakeholders, especially our customers.
"We want to show the way of insurance that customer is number one and we have our customers being on top of our organogram. We exist because of our customers, and we want to wish them well and let them know we are geared up to give them excellent services, " he added.
The walk that brought together management, staff, partners, and customers lasted a little over two hours – covering 8 kilometres.
