After my husband cheated on me with my best friend, I decided to cheat him back to feel the way I did

Recently, there have been more instances of infidelity in marriages, which has resulted in family dissolution or divorce and caused suffering for young children, as in the case of Regina from Kiambu county.

Regina has experienced a lot since she was a young child. When she told her mother that her uncle had raped her, instead of supporting her, she was reprimanded and told not to tell anyone.

Regina was disappointed that her mother had failed to shield her. She fled and moved in with her friends, where she had the opportunity to work as a housekeeper.
There, she met a man who later became her husband.

They were blessed with three children, and during the time they spent together, their marriage was stable. She claimed that when her mother fell ill one day, she left the children with their father and went to check on her. Her children urged her to prepare spaghetti-like her friend had while she was away when she returned after a day.

They informed her right away that her friend had slept in her room.

She claims that she didn't ask the husband because she wanted to do the investigation alone. Her sister was having a dowry payment ceremony, and her husband told them to go and stay as long as they like even if he couldn't make it.

After being there for three days, the mother's last child cried out for her father.

She left the village in the evening, and when they got home around nine o'clock, she claimed the door wasn't locked.

She went to her bedroom to get dressed, and when she went in, she discovered her husband and her best friend lying on her marital bed naked.

Without saying anything, she left. Later, as the children were playing, the husband was startled and went back to the bedroom while the woman got dressed and ran outside without pausing to look at Regina.

Regina told her husband it was over between them despite his attempts to apologize. She was awaiting the end of the school day so she could leave.

After a month, she met a man, and out of rage and pain, they travelled to Naivasha, got a hotel, and stayed there for a week. When she returned home, her husband wanted to stab her to death; fortunately, her children shouted and the neighbours were able to separate them. Regina needed to return to her house.

She now cares for her children on her own and has urged married individuals to be committed to one another.
