Don't Be Too Busy To Take Care Of Your Parents - Pastor Kumuyi

The founder of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi has revealed how children should treat their parents.

In a video on his verified Facebook page, the man of God said that there are consequences for those who are teaching children to disregard the word of God and their parents. Kumuyi said, "Parents help children achieve their goals; they sacrifice and labour for their children to become what they have become today." Kumuyi said, "Don't be too busy to take care of your parents. Remember them and honour them." People who are working are expected to remember their parents who are getting old. It is wrong to allow your aging parents to struggle to feed themselves when you can assist them. You're not honouring them for what they've done to you, but because it is the command of God. Even if people accuse your mother of being a witch, it is your responsibility to take care of her and honour her. The Bible says in Ephesians 6:1-2 : "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother; this is the first commandment with a promise."
