According to Mayo Clinic, menopause can affect a woman's intimate life. Intimacy performance may suffer if a woman experiences a decline in her intimacy life throughout menopause. In this article, we'll look at three ways that menopause might affect a woman's intimate life.
1. Painful intimacy
One medical condition that some menopausal women may encounter is dyspareunia, also referred to as painful intimacy. Weakening vaginal tissues and a dry private part could cause this. Dyspareunia can lead to burns and blisters during intimate activity.
2. A lack of desire for intimacy
As she matures, a woman's ability to sense emotions connected to intimacy may deteriorate. An alteration in a woman's oestrogen hormone level may be the cause of this.
3. Dry private part
It's possible for a woman to have a dry private part throughout menopause. Vaginal dryness is a result of reduced blood flow to the female reproductive organ. She may not be as sensitive as she should be when this occurs to her intimate parts.
