Ghana goalie Lawrence Ati-Zigi returns from suspension Switzerland

Ghana international Lawrence Ati-Zigi returned from suspension to help his St Gallen side earned point against Grasshopper on Sunday in the Swiss Super League.

The goalkeeper had missed the last two games for St Gallen after receiving the marching orders in their clash against Luzern on February 19.

Ati-Zigi was not in action when his outfit played FC Sion and Basel respectively due to the suspension.

On his return, he helped St Gallen to play a 10-1 stalemate at home against their opponent.

The visitors took the lead through Guilherme Schettine after just five minutes into the much-anticipated clash.

But the home team pulled parity through Gregory Karlen in the 33rd minute mark to make it 1-1 at the end of the game.

The 26-year-old is expected to make the Black Stars squad for the 2023 AFCON doubleheader qualifiers against Angola later this month.
