Godwin Attram, a former player of Accra Great Olympics, has advised the club to refrain from terminating the contract of head coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah, despite his slow start at the club.
Kobi-Mensah was appointed to replace Yaw Preko, who was fired due to poor results, but has only managed two wins out of the eight matches he has overseen.
During an interview with Citi Sports, Attram raised concerns about the potential sacking of Kobi-Mensah, questioning whether the club would give him more time to turn things around or opt for another replacement coach.
Attram also criticized the club's sole focus on results, suggesting that it is essential to consider the bigger picture and the team's overall direction.
"It is good that you have to have results but you need to look at where are you going too. Now, another young coach also came and is facing the same problem; the team is not winning," he told Citi Sports.
"So would you change that coach too or you will give him more room to operate to do the thing for the club?"
