How To Start Over In Life Again

There comes a point in life when you have to become a new person .This is usually not an easy step and lack of proper planning may make one find themselves going back to their old habits.

So how does one reinvent themselves and start over?

1.Understand Why You Need To Start Over

Every great thing is built on strong foundation and so is a new identity . Understanding the why gives you the motivation to follow through on the change . Maybe your current self is just not who you want to be . It's allowed to try again until you find what makes you happy.

2.Cut Distractions

To develop the character of the new you , you have to let go of habits and things which are keeping you in the same place . For example If you are trying to be healthy , and your old behavior was to order junk .Then start by eating home cooked meals instead. Everytime you want to order a meal , refrain from ordering junk foods and instead order a healthy one . Overtime this will become a norm

3. Avoid People From Your Past

Sometimes to reinvent yourself , you may have to stay away from people from your past who know the version of you you are trying to leave behind .Exampls is , If you and your friends party alot and you are trying to ease off that lifestyle so you can focus on other things , then avoid your party friends until you have solidified this new you .

4.Change Your Contacts

If your past is really bad , you can go ahead and get new contact altogether . Sometimes you have so many people with your contact and you don't have control , and if your past isn't good then it's worse .A new contact allows control over who you let in your new space.

If that's what you think you need then go for it

5.Find New Hobbies

Now that you are no longer doing the things you used to do , find yourself with a lot of spare time . Get to doing the things you have usually wanted to do but you couldn't . This is a great way to identify yourself as a new person .

Example is if you always wanted to hit the gym for an amazing body but you were busy partying . Now make the gym your new habit and you have now become a gym person with great body .

6.Stay Persistent

Keep the focus on the tasks you have to do for this new dream to become a reality . This means avoiding distractions and understanding your why

7.Buy New Things

Get yourself new things to signal you are changing .Could be new books , essentials , clothes etc . Buying a couple of new things usually signal changes
