I don't understand why God allows good people in society to die early

Elijah Nortey Thompson famously known in showbiz circles as De Thompson DDT, a singer and producer, has spoken about the death of Christian Atsu.

According to the ‘Ye Ni Da Ho’ crooner, he believes in the Akan saying that ‘good people don’t live long’ because he doesn’t understand why God allows good people in society to die so early.

“In some way, I feel that when they say good people don’t last long on this earth I think it might be true because I don’t know why only those who do good are those that God calls from this earth very early,” he remarked.

He added on Property Radio in Cape Coast “I don’t know whether if God should leave those good people on this earth if they will be spoiled or get corrupted along the way I can’t even tell.

“But always the good people that you see them doing great things to help other people, such a person are those that God calls them early from this life that we’re living,” he continued via Showbiz on Property FM.

“When you think about it you won’t even understand why it always happens like that in this world,” De Thompson DDT said in an interview with Amansan Krakye.

Meanwhile, former footballers, friends and sympathizers from all walks of life are trooping to the family house of Christian Atsu who died recently in Turkey during an earthquake.
